Hello assalamualaikum. This is the second post untuk hari ini , dan juga tajuk yang sama.
Haha . Mesti terkejutkan baca entry ni ? Selalu sehari seketul je post . Kuikui.

Btw, best sgt dpt join press conference ni. Ni first time join press conference as a blogger, tapi dah dua kali join press conference as owner boutique and model . Hehe :D First of all , nak ucapkan special thank to Andy Howtt sbb invite untuk turut serta dlm press conference ni. Hehe .
Memula nak pergi , mmg nervous . tgkp2 gmbar banyak2. Risau pulak . Dressing mcm ni over ke , biase2 ke ? Huhu . Mmg pikir dri segala aspek . huhu .

Then dah pukul 2 lebih , pika still in silent mode. Perghh time tu dh risau dah. Mana lah dia ni. Bukan apa . Risau sbb kita tak tahu jalan lagi, jem lagi, Ishh. gugur jantung taw nyah . Huhu . Lepas dpt call pika, rupanya dia tertido . Haipp pikaa2 . Puk kang !

Finally lepas beberapa minit jugak tunggu, pika sampai. Perghh. Terus rushing google map bagai nak cari Sime Darby Convention Centre tu. Finally smpai jugak . YEAYY ! Walaupun lambat 5 minit. Sbb hujan tadi + jem . Haha :P

Bila dh smpai, terus pergi kat registration counter. Dapat lah press kit utk event ni. Pastu dh register tu, duduk2 la dlu kan. Penat baq hg . Jalan dengan kasut tumit tinggi. Ahaha . Then ade sorang mamat ni, duduk kat situ jugak . Then kita pun dengan polite nya tegurlah dia "Can I ?" . Then dia pun reply kita balik , "Sure sure, of course". Then sambung sembang2 dengan pika. Hehe ^^

Then about 3.30pm , the press conference is about to start. People start to walk into the media room. So do we. Ktorang masuk2, a few second later baru press conference tu start. Bila dh start, ktorang pun start lah. Hahaha. Ktorang start apa ? Apaa lagi ? Clickk clickk clickk clikk . Hahahah :P

Okay . Representative dari FashionValet sangat la handsome dan comel . Sorang muka mcm adik Shamsul Yusoff, yang perempuan tu lah yang comeyy. hihi ^^.

After introduction session by Mr Johan Ishak, CEO of MyCreative Ventures, then follow up with introduction from Managing director of Fashion Valet, Mr. Fadzarudin Shah Anuar. After the session , sesi Q&A pun dibuka kepada media. So apa lagi, ramai lah yang bertanya. Paling berkenan dengan this one designer , Bon Zainal, dia kerap bertanya dan semua soalan dia bernas dan tak lari dari tajuk event ni :) Hebad . Tergamam tengok tadi . Hihi .

After sesi  Q&A tamat, macam biasa lah, session ends. Kitorang dipersilakan untuk menjamu makanan yang disediakan known as refreshment , kat luar. Hahahaha. Lepas enjoy makan , kita tangkap gmbar ramai2 . Yeayyy :)

What is Fashion Pitch?

Fashion Pitch is a competition that produces business opportunities to aspiring designers or entrepreneurs who are looking to leave a mark in the fashion industry. MyCreative and FashionValet have partnered up and are looking for original and distinctive fashion ideas that Malaysian entrepreneurs have to offer. Selected participants will pitch their fashion ideas and stand a chance to apply for a business loan from MyCreative to pursue their business aspirations.

So, gear up! You will have to pitch your dazzling ideas to a panel of judges. Whilst the idea is to fund your business, we are also very keen in searching for fresh new look. No formal knowledge in designing is necessary to join. Just come equipped with your business proposal and entice us with your best fashion designs. Our hope is that by identifying you, entrepreneurs for the fashion industry, we are able to progress on the following:

·         Boost the attractiveness of Malaysia’s creative industry measurable by job creation.

·         Increase gross income from Malaysia’s creative industry to significantly contribute to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

·         Elevate the status of Malaysia’s creative industry via public awareness and social impact.

Who are the Sponsors? 

MyCreative is a government investment arm to spur Malaysia’s creative industry via strategic and innovative funding in a form of equity or debt investments. Eligibility and Submission Requirement for Fashion Pitch

Fashion Pitch is open to all designers who are:

1.       Malaysian citizen

2.       Participants must be 18 years and above of age

3.       Good command in English and/or Malay

4.       Passion for fashion

As a submission requirement, your proposal should include the following five (5) components for which, you will be required to present to a panel of judges from the industry during the ‘Pitch Day’, if you have been shortlisted by the organizing committee:

1.       Introduction/ designer’s profile

2.       Concept of design

3.       Product show

4.       Market positioning – benchmarked against other existing brands from the perspectives of target audience and pricing strategy

5.       Show us how your proposal can make profit (showcasing sales and production cost expectations)

Please be sure that applicants must have the following items when coming in for the ‘Pitch Day’:

1.       Application form

2.       Power Point Slides (Minimum 5)

3.       Design portfolio (if available)

4.

Please note that the above are non-negotiable requirements of entry. By completing and submitting an official application form and your proposals, you are agreeing to be bound by terms and conditions set out above. ·         ‘Pitch’ – a pitch submitted to MyCreative / FashionValet team and accompanied by an official application form

Fashion Pitch is intended to boost the attractiveness of the Malaysian fashion industry by providing funding (loans and investments) to eligible candidates. By submitting your design(s) and idea(s) to Fashion Pitch, applicants must acknowledge and agree that they are making a submission solely for purposes of being considered for a business funding. By making an email submission, you release MyCreative, FashionValet and VConnect Asia and its respective directors, officers, shareholders, and employees from any and all claims relating to your email submission, including and without limitation arising from the risk of misdirection or misdelivery of your email.  Fashion Pitch team reserves the right to cancel or reject any application that is found to have been falsified or misappropriate information given by the participant. Fashion Pitch team reserves the right to amend any rules and criteria as deemed fit at any point of time. Fashion Pitch team will not be held responsible for any mishap, accident or death that occurs during the pitch sessions. Participants must also be able to attend the pitch day should their pitch be shortlisted (17th June- 21st June).Only one pitch per participant may be submitted. Participants must agree to release all rights of appearance in footages taken during the pitch session to the media for any promotional or publicity purposes in various forms of media. Applicants who have submitted their online applications are considered to have agreed to our Terms & Conditions. By signing the application form, applicants also acknowledge that they do not have any criminal records or history.
